Hail shower

Oh dear. I hope you did not suffer too much damage Andrew. Hail can be devastating to gardens.

Not really a 'like', thought we were into Spring.

No damage done Klahanie. Although it's officially spring, the weather is cold so most plants still think it's winter.

We managed to escape that......thank goodness.

DD - it was very localised. On the other side of town (about 2 miles away), one half of a housing estate had hail while the other half was bathed in sunshine.

I spoke too soon......we has some today!! really warm in the sunshine but out of it very cold indeed....

It was dry here today. Delivered boxes of NGS County Leaflets to some of the local garden centres this afternoon and bought three boxes of coloured primroses to add a splash of brightness. You can just about make an L-shaped bed by the pond plus two planters in front of the greenhouse where they have now been added.

You have obviously had your NGS luncheon, we go next week, looking forward to it, and the garden visit afterwards...
I have resisted buying any this year, and then a friend bought us three lots of yellow......
