Fruit tarts..from leftover stuff...

I'm in the middle of spring cleaning...and found six pastry cases in the freezer. Should I throw them, should I use them. I had made the Hairy Bikers ploughman tarts at Christmas and these were spare pastry cases. I had seen some fruit tarts in the supermarket earlier today and cringed at the price, and as I had some strawberries, raspberries and kiwi in the fridge I decided to fill them with those. I had found some Quick Jel in the cupboard while sorting that, so I made that up too to put on them. A spoonful of whipped double cream and Voilla (sp) all done at a fraction of the cost of the supermarket ones...:o)

Isn't she just Brian. I LOVE fruit tarts and fruit flans. In fact my fruit flans were legendary n the student circles of the mid 80s in London! Lol! At that time I think I was the only person my age who knew of the existence of Quick Jel!
