You've done well there. I bought some plug pelargoniums last week, in various shades of red. I love that they flower all season, and also that they survive overwinter in my greenhouse and are so easy to grow from cuttings. I've never been a fan of them in the past, but they are turning out to be firm favourites!

Yes, and red looks great against my cream harled walls which tend to make pastel colours look washed out. Against my house, the bolder the better. Its great actually as I've always loved red flowers, but they can be hard to place in a border. I read so ewhere that red draws the eye so you should keep it close to you. If you put it at the end of your garden it makes the space seem smaller and dominates. So this year I am planning a bright red patio!
