Helleborus hybridus "Ashwood Garden Hybrid" Single Yellow (Helleborus x hybridus)

Raised from seeds - it's taken about three years to see the first flowres.

We often see primrose/cream coloured helleborus at garden centres but this one by Ashwood has pure yellow patals (calyx, to be exact) with gold (dark-yellow) nectaries.

@Steragram
Cheers!

@B
I sowed 5 seeds 3yrs ago and this one turned out pure yellow, the other one turned out yellow with red-flash in the centre (yet quite nice) and the rest of three haven't flowered yet.

Although Ashwood does hand-pollination, the colour would vary from seeds.....

What else?

See who else is growing Helleborus x hybridus.

See who else has plants in genus Helleborus.
