I have decided to lower the pond, as the edges are obstructing the lawn mower on the grass side, so the pagoda is just placed till I decide where exactly to put it

Tommymoo, yes hubby did make the bridge. I designed it, in the style of Monet's bridge at Giverny, although that one is green.

The pond has now been lowered by 3 cm, looks better but needs some pebbles glueing around the rim to stop fertilized soil falling into the pond because on the shelf I intend to put my Sarracenia. I was thinking of painting the bridge green, but just one more thing to do.

Have painted the 'hand rail' ( actually the rail is at ankle level) bottle green. There was an old tin of green needing using up, touched up the bird table leg as well.

Siris, Is this a REAL photo (taken outside?) It looks a lot like a miniature pond. (pretty, though)

Yes, Harley, it is a miniature preformed pond, outside, taken in March. Only people with little feet can use the bridge! Oh, and I saw Mrs Blackbird hop across the bridge a couple of days ago.

You've got a nice bridge there. Did your husband make it?
