Mahonia aquifolium (Mahonia aquifolium (Oregon grape))

An evergreen suckering, Spring flowering shrub. I love the dark leathery leaves, contrasting with the yellow flowers at this time of year.

Lovely. I think they flower later than M. charity, don't they? Naughty OH Dotty, you have to watch these men, mine is a devil for hard pruning, you should see my scalped Passiflora, lol.
