I had been looking for one of these since my old one died after I had to cut it down because it was just where the gas fitter needed to site the gas boiler exhaust. I had hoped it would regrow from the base but 2 years later it never has. So, this week I'm going to dig out the raised border it was in, replenish the soil and plant this new one. I really miss the lovely flowers every May around the Kitchen window. The two others I planted 18 months ago, John Paul 2 and Sunset, have made very little growth, pathetic really. It's time to sort the soil in that bed out I think.
