The common name for them is Snakes head Fritillaria Paul , you can see why !

And they come in white, but the markings are not so distinguished.

Lovely picture Amy, I'm down to one white and one this colour they look too much like grass when not in flower and think I've dug them up ooooops, must get some more in autumn and label them well lol.
