I have this in my pond and I love it!! It does spread over the surface and create a nice raft! I've bought a second pot of it this year to stand besides the original to make a nice big raft/ bush of it in the water!! It's a great hiding place for fish and frogs too when it spreads across the water! And this year its lasted well and provided colour over the winter months in the pond :)

new one to me , and a new plant for you !!!
A pink and green variegated pond marginal plant to 12" with white flowers. Used as a culinary herb in Japan. Spread 24", useful to filter nutrients from water and provide shade.
