Some of my Heuchera babies coming to life.

These are three and two year old babies and I love them. The colours change as they get older and it's a job to part with them but I do have a lot. It's so exciting to see what colour you'll end up with. Even the greens come in such a variety of shapes and colours, mottled etc.

In a greenhouse Siris so they've warmed quicker than being out although some of my outsiders have flowers on too.

After you told me about your Heuchera babies last year, I sowed seed of H. kassandra, pot looks like a little lawn now.

Well done Siris. I remember being told years ago that they were sterile, a cunning ruse to stop us growing them.

Maybe what they meant was that named varieties would not come true, or maybe Heucherella are sterile as they are a cross between Heuchera and Tiarella?
