I like the colour and I like the eye , is this the 1st flower ?

Yes, it is the First Flower Open. It is a band and not an eye. If the colour/pattern is only on the petals and not the sepals, then it is a band. If it is on both the petals and sepals, it is an eye. If it is very narrow or faint, then it is a halo. Technical, but I practice for when I will need it to register something.
