Aspirational holly!

Today I spent some time trimming back a large holly. It looks as if the holly has decided to become a camellia! It grows right beside a very large camellia, and at first I thought I had cut some by mistake.

Thank you, Klahanie - that is very interesting! My holly has all those leaf variations, but I'm pretty sure nothing eats them! It was cut back quite heavily last year, so perhaps that has something to do with it.
