I like strawberry milk shake. Or maple walnut "something".

LOL Maple walnut! love that one too. Haagan Daz makes a good maple walnut - sugar cone.

That Haagan Daz is decadent Bathgate, but I need a raise to be able to buy it on regular bases.

I would also need a gym membership :)

Similar to Gg..'proper' Vanilla not the flavoured,in a cone, with nuts and a flake..you can hold the raspberry sauce..oh,go on then,if you are twisting my arm..No gym membership needed,as exercise is compulsory with a 10 month old Grandson,,and a six year old one..:o)

LOL, I hear ya! I need to remember "Stawberry Cheesecake" that sounds like a must try.

Gg - I'm not sure what "99 flake" is. Can you clue me in please? I get the nuts and raspberry sauce.

Just in case Gg doesn't see this Paul,it's a crumbly bar of chocolate, shaped like a log,and stuck in the Icecream of a Cone..which is known as a 99..I don't know the origin of this...It's also nice sprinkled on top of the Chocolate Icing ,of a home made Cake,as they are sold in shops in packs of three,by a well known Chocolate maker here...not many can eat one without getting bits of it on your face, and clothing,,so not for refined dining :o).

Hi

from what I gather

apparently it is so called because the majority of ice cream merchants in the fifties were Italian. The King of Italy had an elite bodyguard consisting of 99 men. So anything elite was called 99s by Italians. So they called the elite ice cream a 99.

LOL the kids will keep you slim & trim - and your wallet too.

Mr. Softee makes something called a "Shaggy Dog." It is a double cone with chocolate dipped ears, cherry nose & loads of chocolate sprinkles for the whiskers. yum!
