was that a project when you were at primary school.
I have a mountain Ash i inherited from my dad that flowers and produces berries grows in a pot but I don't look after it properly so a weird shape.

Amy it is only in about an 7/8in pot I will take a picture.I have never shaped it up only kept it for nostalgia.probably a bit late to try pruning it now.
I am quite a nostalgic person and was thinking about your Horse Chestnut tree and found myself counting on my fingers how old the one is in my garden dad planted as a seedling that was 1968 the year he retired so only a few years older than yours .will take a pic from my bedroom window in the rain and post it .it could not be more different to yours.

The one I've just looked at the 60ft one isn't the one you mean in a pot is it Brian ,my mistake I think Lol... its lovely to have plants /trees etc. passing through the family so may memories and day dreaming :o)
