I didn't expect this to return this year, but now it's a centerpiece. We call it "The Butterfly Bush."

Hi Tracey. I think you would enjoy having this plant. It's not too big, smells nice and brings in lots of butterflies. Hope all is well with you.

Have now written this down in my Diary...! It sounds just like my sort of plant...! Brightly coloured, perfumed and attracts the butterflies! Will investigate at the Garden Centre tomorrow... ;o) Everything is ok here, thanks for asking Paul. Have been busy recently trying to find a Pink or Lilac oriental poppy in flower for a sad arrangement/tribute. I'm hoping that I can find a plant in bud and force it on in the heat of the conservatory...! I need it for next Monday - so haven't got long! (My Wholesaler can only obtain Poppies from Italy at the moment and they are in the reds/oranges/yellows... )

Great plants...they are important food for Monarch butterfly's. To think they are native to the freezing cold American mid west...grazed by Buffalo.

Thanks Stan, I really enjoy this plant. The frangrace carries in the wind - smells like Easter Lilies. This is an American Native plant. "Siberian" is just a reference to its cold hardiness. It's considered an herb with many medicinal properties & they make nice cut flower.
Tracey: I'm glad to hear that everything is OK over there. I hope you can find this plant. Were you able to find the poppy you were looking for. Is there any other flower you can substitute if you can't get the pink poppy? I'm sure you'll find a suitable alternative - you can't do the impossible.
