it was a mixture of seeds , plastic plant pouches that you hang from a wall/fence ..... all came in useful and well worth the £10.00 as I sold the seeds on ebay for £5.00 lol

This looks the same as mine Gg, the flower opened on it today , mine was just labeled Suffruticosa no specifuc name .

I was just wondering how long ago it was I bought those cheapy peony so I looked back at my blog May 2010!!! crikey time flies, they get better every year one had 13 flowers this year they do all have names but can't remember them offhand (long Chinese names), the yellow was one I bought last year from Harrogate so really pleased it has a flower in its first year, I just took a picture although its closed up a bit for the night I'll see how its come out in a bit :-)

The yellow varieties do flower much quicker I also think its the original Paeonia lutea delavayi ludlowii way way back in its history ?
