You're starting to get me to think of mixing temperate's with exotics...especially temperate's that look plenty exotic.

Dan, they are real 'head turners.' I still marvel at the deep royal purple. It looks like velvet.
Hi Tracey, not all of them are, some only the faintest hint of a fragrance. These, have the strongest scent of any I've ever seen - like lilacs & it will quickly fill a room.
It's one of my favorites too Drc. Thanks for your comment. These came out of my grandmother's garden before she passed away. To me, they are a living memorial to her. I can't be without them.
That's what I love about Irises Stan, they only look exotic but they ask for very little (compared to gardenias - the prima donnas of the flower garden) - just a good sunny location.
