Andy,that huge Rubber Tree that hung over the 880 freeway? The road crew cut it all the way back even with the wall. Like half the tree-swoop- gone just like that.

I'm still have to cut many of my Ficus tree back. I just concerned when they're cut back they're going to grow back so much faster! The same goes for my tropical guava (Psidium guajava.
