My Baby!

It took 3 years for this Iris to bloom! I was quite excited to see the color, Unfortunately, I was not able to take another picture of it in full bloom (eight exactly), it bloomed during the raining weeks last month (May). It has one seed pod, and I was informed this Iris is a Mango Entreé and it's seeds are not fertile! I will have to divide it to grow others. I have no idea how I came about getting the (Iris)bulbs. Three years ago, two of my lavender/blue irises looked rather weak, so I planted it in this pot....it bloomed for the first time this year?? Can someone explain this to me! Lol
