Yes, they look great...but they probably won't tomorrow. Mine havent really started yet, so hopefully the rain will ease off now.

HB roses are not made to withstand the rain, feel like rushing outside with umbrellas for them

Lovely selection of roses there DD. Beautiful colours. More rain today....just been out to feed the fish and it's raining....Hopefully we shall get some sunshine soon....I remember as a child singing Rain, Rain, go away, come again another day.

Yes it does seem to be going that way.......the Cornus and the tree ferns love it, but anything with petals is really suffering?

Lindak I remember singing that song too O:-) absolutely tipping it down here now and will be until this afternoon!! mind you we found three frogs in our tiny barrel yesterday they must enjoy this kind of weather!......

Lovely to have frogs around, it does help with keeping the slugs and snails down. There are plenty of those around so we have put down a couple of beer traps and they seem to be working o.k. Our hedgehogs usually keep the garden clean but there does seem to be an excess of snails and slugs at the moment. As long as the Hedgehogs don't decide to have a party and use the beer up!!!
