Potentilla recta?

Potentilla recta? is a mass of flowers, this it's second year of flowering. Did not realise how tall it would get. Have made others, this is just too tall for the front of the border, will have to be replaced.

I did actually 'weed out' a youngster because I thought it was a creeping buttercup, but as I planted out several seedlings, 2 survived. Worth keeping for its bright flower power, but will need a different position.

Aaah so you saved it !!, thought it was going as it looked to much like a buttercup? ;-)
