its a hard spot for me to take a photo in as I have 3 baby beehives just behind this plant so its a bit like Heathrow with the comings and goings .....

that plant was from a lady on GC as I helped her identify some of hers and she sent me the cutting material , and so easy from cuttings they rooted in 4 weeks.

3 full productive hives that live in a 5 acre water meadow 10 mins form the house and 3 baby hives bottom of the garden with two new queens in that will be moving in to the "productive hives" in late August early September.

yes .... how I remember that day out in the car !!! the hairs still go up on the back of my neck.

I was moving bees two weeks ago but I wear my bee suit now just in case , with the veil/hood ready to put on quickly if need bee

I was sent some on the GC site too of Apple Blossom which is nearly in flower also think it was Blackbird a dark one anyway, lost that one unfortunately.
Quite a few hives now then , have the grumpy gang calmed down yet?

The grumpy gang are still grumpy !!! and that wont change anyone coming 5o feet radius from the hives will be stung and that includes chickens and cats !!there used to be a path through the grass about 30 feet away but that is overgrown now ! (I wonder why) lol
