My New Greenhouse!!!

Summer was the first word I saw in your picture! Yeah right - we've had so much rain here over the past couple of weeks it's plain miserable. Let's hope you can get the weather to erect your greenhouse. It's been pouring here all morning and though it seems to have stopped now it's very grey and chilly.

It's turned out to be hot and sticky here...! There's a bit of ground preparation work to be done, before I can have the Greenhouse erected...! But it was such a good buy, that we decided to order it before sorting out the base etc., Not to worry, I've been waiting ages to have one installed... I'm halfway there now that it's arrived! :D

You'll have it well in time to sow next year's seeds. My OH misses his greenhouse but we just don't have the space here. He bought himself a small wooden framed one with PVC(?) windows that sits under the kitchen window. He uses that for seedlings but it's not big enough for tomato plants. They're under the kitchen window too where they half block the outside tap. Still, nowhere is perfect and, at least, the garden no longer takes me days to work round before starting all over again. This is just big enough for me in my dotage!

At last!! You won't regret it I'm sure. Wise move to put it in the shed. It's much more of a challenge to put together when the labels are washed off! Where are you thinking of siting it?

I thought of you Poppy when I loaded it into the shed! I think it's going down the bottom of the garden taking up some of the veggie patch... It'll be a good place as we'll be able to plant up all the veggies/salad that I'll have sown...! When we go to Hampton Court I'll be sussing out all the staging ideas etc., etc., for Greenhouses lol ;o)

Sounds like a plan! My show guide arrived in the post yesterday, so have been busy looking at all the highlights. Did you know there is a butterfly dome? Will send you a pm .....

Ooohhh! I have to pick my guide up when we get there! Can't believe we'll be going in 10 days time! :o)
