I brought this little sculpture from my old garden, in remembrance of my two old friends, Taylor, a dark Siamese cat who died when he was 21, and my precious Tobey, a beautiful Lilac point Siamese, who died from a broken heart soon after..he was 20..i still miss them, 10 yrs later...

through a stroke of luck my neice just found a little dog for me... His name is Ryot. He's a Yorkie and very quick and perky. I've only had him 2 months and we're getting to know each other. I'm planning a pet nook with a stump sculpture too, for Mandy, Clover, Omega and Boogie. (Dog, rabbit, kitten and bird)

I think a growing thriving garden is the best memorial. When I go I hope my ashes will become part of the growing things on my hillside.

Lori..i found out recently that it is perfectly legal here in Canada to have your ashes scattered in any provincial park..no cost, no need to inform anyone (in fact, there's no official to inform)..they just ask that you don't leave too many floral arrangements at the sight..and i don't think they want any memorial stone..all this is right up my alley..if my pets die before i do, i'm going to save their ashes, and have my sons spread all the ashes together, somewhere in the bush...both Patrick and Shawn have agreed to do this for me..i like the idea of going back into the bush..i miss it here...
