This morning in the garden, nice and sunny after a heavy rain shower in the very early hours.

Brian it has opened up and is much darker than yours, so sorry you have not got the colour you wished for. Wonder if the soil makes a difference to the colour, someone once told me it could make a difference to the colour of hydrangea flowers but I do not have knowledge of this. Come to think of it not a lot of knowledge about much really. lol.
