I've only started seeing them a few years ago. They migrate up from the Caribbean Islands, Mexico & South America during the warmer months.

I had to check this out
so this is what I have come up with
Range: Guatemala north through Mexico and the United States to northern Canada; Hawaii, some Caribbean Islands, New Zealand, Europe, Northern Africa, Asia. Cannot survive coldest winters; most of North America must be recolonized each spring by southern migrants.

wow, that really blows the mind Gg. I once tried walking from Gramercy Park to the Battery. My feet were killing me after just a couple miles. I needed a foot massage.
