Hydrangea scandens subsp chinensis - 2016

I came across this shrub during a holiday in France and brought one back with me (I guess we won't be able to do that once we have left the EU). Not often seen over here, this shrub needs part shade and shelter from cold winds when it will reach four feet. Semi evergreen, losing its leaves in the coldest weather. I have found it flowers best in wet summers.
