Well I never! Mine have always had a solidl purple coloured spathe, otherwise the form and shape is similar. What species is the Arisaema that you thought it was?

Yes I'm baffled too, the one I swapped was Amurense , the picture the member posted of it was purpley brown and white stripes and a hooded spathe not the same form as this at all !

Yes, Simbad, I googled amurense, as you say different form spathe. There was a white Dracunculus on Google, so different colour forms do exist, maybe the speckling is due to the weather?

I wondered whether it was all the rain too, see what it's like next year .
