Well done ours has had a severe prune!! and the crown lifting.:-D

I bought one last year after seeing yours Amy and it has a few little 'strawberries' too ! So pleased with it its put on quite a bit of new growth :-)

Thanks all , Gg I've looked it up on Wikipedia which tells me the fruit is edible its sweet & tastes similar to a fig . The name Unedo is attributed to Pliny the Elder who allegedly claimed , " Unun tantumedo " meaning " I only eat one " As I've only got one I shan't be trying it ..
I don't think so Lori there was no mention of that ....they do look similar don't they ...

the tree in the park has maybe 40 or 50 or more but I will give it a miss trying one !

Thats a big tree Gg ,I haven't seen one growing elsewhere , I suspect they would have to be very ripe and so small not worth the trouble ... I wonder if the birds or squirrels will eat them ?

We get loads of berries......but they taste horrible hence only eat one!!! You can make a liqueur apparently.....not tried it though.....
