Yes, many flowering trees in spring and summer: Bauhinia species (orchids trees); Tipu; Cassia species; Plumeria and so many more. I think winter is the best though...so many of the really exotic tropicals bloom in fall and winter.

LOL... oh to have trees in blossom in winter! we have very tall coniferous trees that have a peculiar kind of white flower...they are so covered in this "blossom" that the limbs touch the ground. They only "bloom" in the winter... will post a pic for you, D1! ;-)

You'll have to post a photo of the winter-flowering conifer. I didn't know they could bloom in winter.
I'm pretty spoiled here...as the Daylilies, Lantana, Gerbera and most Aloe species and some Agave species flower in winter, also.
The trees and shrubs that bloom in winter in San Diego are too numerous to list. This past winter the Bougainvillea bloomed like it was the middle of summer. They typically bloom during winter; however, not as spectacularly, The last three years have been incredible. The extreme heat we've had plus the very dry conditions caused them to bloom so well. I feel jipped, though! We didn't get our 200 percent of rainfall we were expecting. We only received about 60 percent of our annual rainfall. :>( ...so the extreme drought continues.

parrot trees, tulip trees, jacarandas... you have so many flowering trees! I really should look for summer flowering trees that are hardy to our zone... at present, spring is the only time we have trees in flower. This is a gorgeous specimen such vibrant colour!
