Very colourful and.....lets of watering.I like the idea of some of the pavers replaced by gravel etc. I was considering taking some of mine out to do this but, not sure Julie will agree.I will show her this.

just what I thought Paul, great to see the gravel in between the paving slabs and I have just the spot I could do this with. lol I wonder........................ :O)

Glad you both like the gravel. I took the pavers out a few years ago, and I have refreshed them a couple of times. Until recently, they were more like small flower beds - not my original intention, but poppies and thyme (planted) had taken over. When the children were small it was useful to have a large area where they could play, but then I thought I would like the variety. They are just concrete slabs, after all. The only thing about gravel is that it gets kicked across the patio a bit, but it's easy enough to sweep it back every now and then. There are two other areas of gravel as well.

Oh, right I will have a look Melchi! Thanks. I have a stone chip area both sides of the patio so I could use the same strones to tie in with them.
