Thats nice, do not have that onebut the common spotted one I have had 3 flower stems and the sugs chewed 2 off just as they started to open,such is life.

Thanks all , I had one plant this one has grown up beside the existing plant the first one always blooms earlier than this one .... what a shame Brian :o( Stera NP did say he was coming over but hasn't been yet we haven't seen him for ages ..

Thank you all I'm thrilled with this and wasn't at all sure it would survive this is the second flower to shoot up this year , I can tell you Stera , we have a friend who has a lake these Marsh Orchids grow in abundance around it ,I commented to this person on how lucky he was ,he said you're welcome to dig one up if you like I said I didn't think it would survive but he said you're welcome to try, so I did dig one up with plenty of soil and transplanted it in my garden in a shady spot I'm amazed at how well its grown .. lucky me :o)
