Lucifer

I've just got the boring colour...I'm thinking of taking it out.

lol Waddy which colour is that then, is it the orange one that is very prolific? I can send you some later on and some of the yellow one if you would like another colour. Just let me know.

Yep, the orange one. I wanted the Lucifer and the yellow but couldn't seem to find any in the GC near here so settled for boring orange...wish I hadn't. Would you mind if you're thinning out I'd love to replace it.

Ok will try and remember. I have two big clumps of Lucifer now and think you would like the yellow one which is Colombus not as tall as Lucifer so you can put that in the front of a border. My memory is shocking so just nudge me in case I forget. It will be a while though before they finish flowering so will not disturb them until later on in the year.

I'll do my best to remind you...although I hate to nudge people, it always seems a bit rude somehow. Would you say October ish will be best?

yes around then would be good. Will put it in my calendar and then I should remember. Please do nudge me if I forget I do not mind at all. Much rather you did that to remind me. Forgot an appointment this week mainly because Lottie was here and my mind was on her needs not mine. lol.

I understand completely. If I don't write everything down in my diary you can consider it forgotten these days and I can't blame Lottie!!

Is Lucifer hardy where you live? In Vermont it is not too reliable. Depends on the winter. I do think it can be quite tantalizing.

Pretty, my only just starting to flower.

This clump in full flower the one in the middle of the border no where near flowering, strange how things have been a bit hit and miss with flowering times this year.
