Common Sedum in bloom

Waddy, I thought that coppery one was as common as Hens and Chicks. In Vermont, one sees both of these in many gardens. Guess I should dig up the name?

is it not a Sempervivum as opposed to sedum,not sure tell me.

Now we must hunt up name. I just thought it was a Sedum, no justification... I only like the flowering when it begins. Otherwise, think it belongs in Arizona, not Vermont. It gets too tall so I cut it off.
