Here is our new grandson, at less than 24 hours old, being introduced to his big sister. He appears to be taking life easy!The other little girls are cousins on my daughter-in-law's side. There was quite a family gathering to welcome him home. We are so thrilled!
Now just 7 weeks until our daughter's baby boy is due!

I think I might on an ad hoc basis, Arbuthnot. My weekly date with my granddaughter is set in stone as far as I'm concerned, but I'm not sure that more than that would be the best thing. We had a family get-together here yesterday, and Finlay had his first day out to meet his relatives on his dad's side. A great success it was, too. Almost a week old, and he slept through most of it!

Thanks, Hb - he was 8lbs14 ozs. And he'll certainly be well mothered! He's the first boy in d-i-l's family since her dad so everyone is very pleased. And her sister is having a boy later this year. All very exciting!
