I had Campanula hederafolia for only two years before deceased! It looked similar to yours.

Yes it does spread.....but so easy to pull them out......small roots..

Thanks dd, as long as it's not like its clustered bellflower cousin, that one was impossible to eradicate from one of my previous gardens, on chalk in wiltshire.
