Fuchsia arborescens or tree fuchsia was a bonus when buying roses from Bakker. I wasn't sure what I was getting, it said edible fruits, but they have been amazing. Just like a small bush with hundreds of tiny fuchsia flowers about half an inch in size.

Thanks. They came as small cuttings back in May but have grown really well. Now about two feet tall and well bushed out, they are covered in flowers.

One supplier describes it as frost hardy, while another says fairly tender! No wonder I'm easily confused ... :o)

I will definitely be bringing them in the greenhouse for winter. I was told they were tender but might take a cutting and leave it out for winter just to see.
