Dianthus knappii - 2016

I'm not a fan of yellow 'pinks', but I made an exception for this specie one. Tiny flowers on stems up to 18 inches high, it needs full sun and good drainage. Forms a small clump with up to a dozen flower stems maybe but doesn't really get any bigger. Perhaps it will self sow? From Hungary and bone hardy.
I photographed the flower against a dark heuchera to show it up better.

Mine has not done that well. It over wintered fine but is quite sparse now.
