Orange Alstroneria "Barace", Bought in France. Also bought a red, "Louis" which turns out to be identical, so deleting from file.

This and my others were overwinter outside in the ground, with protection, Dawn.
Linda, thanks but I would have preferred the other clump to be red as the label said!

Not sure mine will survive outside in my cold clay, hmmm. I may lift and put in the greenhouse over winter.

Dawn, not going to comment on your comment about lifting, because I have always manage to kill in doing so. Think the roots are very brittle and resent root disturbance, but also aren't that hardy?

We have never managed to lift one yet.... as Siris says brittle roots!! Have several plants trying.....
