Summer sky

Yes - I couldn't resist photographing them. There were clouds like that for quite a long time this afternoon.

We were in Buxton at the weekend. The weather was nice on Saturday. It's grey here today - perhaps we'll get some sun later.

Thanks Dd. Contrary to expectations, we are enjoying a glorious day today. I spent a long time this morning cutting back an old wisteria which has been rampant for some time. A couple of days ago it blew down which gave me the opportunity to bring it back within bounds. So I feel quite justified in sitting out with my feet up! Just as well our three-weekly garden collection is next Monday - I've filled two wheelie bins!

You deserve to put your feet up......far too hot to work in the garden .......it's boiling here!!

Thank you, Dd! I don't need any second bidding. It's not so hot today, but still sunny and warm so more sitting out! I have cut the grass and watered the pots, though, and the meal is bubbling away in the kitchen so I feel quite justified. Although I enjoy sitting out, justified or not!
