Sunflower

The birds didn't miss any seed this year because I only have one late little plant near the greenhouse. They're very pretty ones!

I'm waiting for the gold finches to arrive as soon as the sunflower seeds ripen. They really put on a show.

I can imagine! Last year we had bluejays...mobs of them.

You seem to have had a good year for Sunflower's...?

We are suffering a drought in Eastern Ontario...How are things across the border in NY State, Bathgate? my sunflower is about 3 ft. tall! :-(

A very good year for sunflowers Tracey. I had dozens popping up everywhere. I didn't plant a single one. The birds must be farming their own seeds.
