That's why I'm a big fan of sedums - they look after themselves.

It looked like we might get some rain today...but the dark clouds dropped a couple of drops and kept right on going! the sedums are the only plants not looking stressed. I might lose a couple of my newer shrubs..they look beyond wilted.... dead?...

No, they may not be dead - early dormancy.

I'm a convert. I never really appreciated the many sedums before. My cousin gave me two clumps; one of this variegated type with the yellow flowers and one with a solid green leaf with pretty pink flowers. This is their first full season in my garden and I planted them in a sunny dry spot...and it has been VERY dry. They seem happy.
