It looks delicious Angela , I picked a bowlful yesterday to give to our soon to be 18 year grandson who's suddenly become very health conscious , ( we hear he has a girlfriend Lol )

Amy it was a traditional American recipe which I will use again....Petal finished it up tonight.......made enough for three days in the end!!

Angela I'd love your American recipe if you have the time please ... I'm expecting the family for the summer holidays its going to be hectic ,first our granddaughter followed by our son with his boys ..

Amy.......have tried to find it, but cannot remember which one it was, found it on the internet..........
I made a sweet shortcut pastry in my magimix....... which I rested in fridge....then put half in pie dish....then added blueberries.......look at classic summer recipe blueberry pie ,,'Kitchen' on the net, for the quantities because you have to use a thickener.... cornstarch..... cornflour to us! and I added cinnamon because another recipe suggested it, and we like cinnamon! also lemon juice and butter! then add the rest of the pastry to cover slit top glaze cook 20 mins then turn down for another 20 mins.......you will need to check for oven temps.....the filling does not want to be too sloppy otherwise it will boil out....but not too set either.... sounds tricky but it wasn't.......good luck.....it's certainly worth making....best with ice cream....... custard..... crème fraiche.

Thanks Angela I'll look it up ,I would like to add the cinnamon as well , Tony brought another dish full in this morning he says its probably the last lot ,I've frozen some for the winter ... I've been making smoothies non stop with the blackberries left in the freezer . I can see the new ones are ready in the lane ..

All our bushes flower at different times.....so we have some more to come.....must try a smoothie!!
