Cardiocrinum cordatum 'Red Form' - 2016

Some of you may know cardiocrinum giganteum, a bulb that grows to eight feet in height and looks like a giant lily. Cardiocrinum cordatum is much shorter, typically growing to three feet, in conditions that have been described as "light, moist, humus and woodsy." The flowers are typically white, occasionally with a red throat. But an all red flower has also turned up and being a plantsman, that is the one I had to have!
