Hi Karen ,
I should of taken another photo as a update but I do have a picture on here from last year to show you the full effect if you want to have a nose at my photos.
It has just finished flowering I will put a photo of what it looks like now as its setting seed.
Avon bulbs are the breeders and the only supplier in the UK.

That's kind of you GG. I did have a bulb of the burgundy one from Shirley and it grew and flowered, in a pot, but died over the winter. I suppose if I kept it in the greenhouse over winter.......will think about it. Thanks.

All my eucomis in pots go into the greenhouse turned on there sides and all survive ... I grow quite a few diffrent varieties but this is the biggest its huge in leaf and flower..and water !! make sure no slugs go into the holes that the flower stalk leaves behind, grit a good filler.

Can't wait till mine get to flowering size ;-)
I've had a couple from Wylie in flowerThe bit you sent me is doing great !, I won't risk it in the garden thus year though this year , which reminds me nearly time to dig them up,the seed heads still look so good yet though.

Thanks... the leaf cuttings have come on a treat , so I will pot up in to single pots in the spring.
