This Eucomis bicolour baby is still only small but has flowers that opened white. Not sure why.

Thanks Wylie, I'll have a look. It definitely will be from seed from the ones I posted photo of last week. They have never been moved in twenty or so years.

It depends on how you got the bulb. I have found that there are a lot of differences in colour with the whole species, and if it came from seed, there are even bigger variations. My E. pole-evansii are just finishing; and then about 6 feet away is a group that are only 12" tall.
