easily sorted in the spring but they have to fight for the spot they are in , I lack late colour with all the daylilys finishing so this ticks the box

It gets so tall doesn't it? :) Well done for keeping it under control. Even after removing it twice, it still keeps popping up all over my border...bit like a Centaurea does.

yes it is tall but no staking which I hate doing and if a plant dont out it goes , too much messing about , but saying that I do have link stakes but so easy to put in and connect to each other.. and they all go in March time.

That's a really good point. I shall need some of those next year for some of my floppier Roses. I must remember to buy them in time this year!

Great plant for late colour :-)
I have those connecting metal stakes too they are brilliant, found some good swirly round ones too that are great for my peonies.
