Many Congratulations to you both,on your 48th Wedding Anniversary,Sheila..and what a beautiful day to celebrate,in this glorious weather..A tad too hot for us too,so we are doing exactly the same,sitting in the shade..

Thanks very much, Sandra. Yes, we are lucky with this amazing summer. We rarely 'do' anything special, but my Mr Right has bought a bottle of bubbly and an easy chicken dish from our local butcher. We prefer supper in the garden to eating out! xx

How lovely! Congratulations. We prefer coffee in the garden to cafes...much quieter and more peaceful! :)

Congratulation Sheila. I cannot imagine better celebration than having a nice meal in a garden. We hardly go out because it is usually loud music (not the kind we like to listen to), bunch of misbehaved kids which deter us, and the ambience is never as pleasant as at our home or garden.
