DD - I did a lot of research before planting this one, and was assured that it is fairly well-behaved. No sign of any suckers yet, but it is only three years old. It has put on a lot of growth this year and now looks like a decent shrub.

Yes, my plant is three years old now and has put on lots of growth this year. Interestingly, I saw the plain green version at Tintinhull Garden in Somerset a couple of months ago.

I'd love one for my garden but just been reading about it and says doesn't like a windy situation? so no good for me on the top of a hill, seemed quite an exposed spot at Wentworth though . The berries that follow look lovely too:-)
