Last year I posted,it was to the top of the wire fence. Same pot..but its grown.

Thanks Andy. I was happy for years when it grew 3 leafs a year. Ever since putting it in this clay pot its taken off.
Its a tweener...not Bonsaied,not a tree in ground. I just let it do what it can.
This is another of ..grows here,but wont flower.. to add to my list.

I have nice photos at Cuyamucca College where there's several in the ground. It gets very hot out there.

There's one on the net of a tree in Hawaii. Its got the lean,the big trunk and open growth. Unlike the true Bombax,it was not a huge tree either.
Google images has it.

There's a good-sized one at the Los Angeles Arboretum. It most likely is about 30' tall. I haven't seen it in quite a while.
I know in Hawaii there's much larger ones.
I have a pics of a large one at the Palm Springs Botanical. I can't find it the pics, though.

It looks excellente! This tree usually demands a lot of heat to grow well.
